Eastern U.S. Feed Product Retrieval
In reference to the e-mails going around concerning the feed recall issued by Purina Mills, we are not affected by this recall as we are a dealer in the Western United States and our feed comes from the Modesto Plant. Even though Purina has recieved no aflatoxin-related complaints, Purina is enacting this recall voluntarily as a precautionary measure only in the Eastern States which are outlined in the press release, of which there is a link to this release above. H.O.W. Workshop May 22
Come See Us at 6:30 on May 22nd for our H.O.W. Workshop, there will be a free dinner with raffle prizes. More importantly Karen Hassen D.V.M. will speak about lameness and injuries to your horse, with a discussion about a topical ointment called Surpass. Also John Link from Purina will speak about their new feed Wellsolve which is specially designed for insulin resistant horses and horses with cushings. We have been Open at our new store for a couple of months and if you have not gotten to come by yet the address is 2292 S. Carson St., and even if you have gotten to come by you should always stop in every once and a while because we are always getting in new products. Also you no longer have to drive across the street to the old store for your feed because our new building is finished. We hope that we see you soon.
